Kangoo Radiator change
Discussion
Kangoo 1.5 dci 2004.
Has anyone got any tips on changing the rad please? I have got started and removed bonnet,undertray, front grill and bumper. Also the fan. Top and bottom hose are undone at the engine end.
Now it seems that the air con rad and the intercooler rad are all bolted together with the cooling rad! Surely not?
I can see some small bolts in a couple of very akward places but i cant believe i have to get at them!
All help appreciated.

I can't remember from memory, but later Renault models did have condenser/radiator/inter-cooler combinations that meant one or more of them were actually 'one part'. However I don't believe this is the case on the Kangoo, especially the 2004 model range.
I would suggest that you'll either have to;
a) Disconnect the A/C pipes to make make clearance for the rad to be extracted (in which case, you'll obviously need to pay to have the refrigerant to be removed)
b) There will be small 8-10mm screws that'll just gently keep the separate elements together combined with clips
c) buy a good torch and have a good look

Thanks. I got the rad out last night. Headlights and the large front top member had to be unbolted and removed.
I then managed to seperate the rad from the other two without having to loose the air-con gas/liquid.
Pain of a job without any prior knowledge,but easy enough now i have my head around the job.
