Peugeot 106 GTI owners past and present!
Discussion
Had one for about 10 years and did 100,000 miles in it. Took two cambelts, one head gasket, three gearboxes, three RHS driveshafts, three or four sets of brakes, one injector, four catalytic converters (don't buy the cheap ones!) and eventually the rear beam. Didn't really mind as I truly loved that car. I'd probably go as far as to say it's the best handling car I'll ever own, but in reality it was probably just the one I grew the most familiar with and learned how best to exploit.
Came very, very close to buying a very late model with only 15k on the clock (for big money) a few years back. I didn't, and the guy was a bit pissed about it, but not as pissed as I am now that I didn't. If that makes sense. Do often wonder where that car ended up.
