Anyone in Citroen parts?
Discussion
Hi, basically hoping someone can help me, via a previous thread I got given a code for my locking wheel nuts, its FF07077AT7, can anyone make any sense of this code at all? I've searched google etc for the actual code, but can't find anywhere I can buy one. The code on the keys seems to be a 4 digit code, for example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-CITROEN-LOCKING-...
Thanks in advance for any help

No not at all, I am just looking for a more cost effective way of removing them, Citroen want £50 plus Vat for a key, with a week minimum wait, and god only knows how much to remove them, whereas they are for sale on ebay for much less. I either need to get a new key or these ones off, then will replace with either normal nuts or mcguard locking ones.
I always wondered if a socket like this would do this kind of job.

The pins should fit into the holes, wherever they are on the wheel nut?

Thanks for the advice so far, is there an english site that sells that special socket you linked? Looks interesting. I asked the RAC about it but they said you have to be a member, and so on, so would likely cost more than actually just buying the key from Citroen. I would imagine Citroen would charge an hours labour or similar, which at a dealership is likely to be even more than the key
I seem to remember some kind of QVC infomercial flogging them over here, but didn't have time to search properly earlier.
Still haven't checked, but usually the answer to every such question is either amazon or ebay.
Also, really not sure if they would work, just a thought which has nagged at my brain for a while now.
No, I am not considering a life of alloy wheel crime.

Haha nice one, looking online I have found it available on eBay, though as someone said on a review I was looking at, if the nut has a stud protruding from it, the little pins are going to have to retract to go over that and more than likely wont be long enough to reach the actual nut, worth a try if nothing else works though so thanks alot
