Timing chains is usually the main cause for concern with these. Either the chain itself stretches or the top chain guide will break, causing rattling noises, poor running, misfires, engine management lights etc.

Make sure the service history is bang on. The turbos don't particularly cope well with crap/old oil, and are prone to premature wear if they haven't been serviced regularly.

A few of the RCZs i've dealt with with the same engine have also had to have oil flushes/de-cokes aswell. As far as I know they're quite bad for coking up.

Anything else you want to know just ask and if i can't answer it i'll pass the question on to someone who can!

cheers i had a look at a couple and they are nice outside, but inside it is cheap, so going to look at the gt model 150 bhp (no intercooler) and usually full leather for cheaper money.

the ones i looked at had full service, but tyres low for some reason.
