Service / Build Information from Renault?

Hi All,

Looking for some information from some more in the know, I've read in other threads that some manufacturers will provide you the original build spec information and and main dealer servicing info if you evidence that you are the current owner.

My girlfriend has a Clio which I've recently discovered has no service history prior to the dealership she bought it from so I'm looking to obtain its early records.

Is it just a case of writing to Renault UK Customer Services with a photocopy of the V5? Does anyone have any experience with them, are they helpful or a bit of a chore?

Renault do not hold information on services carried out on cars. The dealer network does not feed this information into them.
So, unfortunately you will not be able to get the Service History if there is any from them..
