Worth a try I guess?

After a clean unmodified example, low miles (circa 70k)

Don't mind an aftermarket exhaust as I know about the poor standard ones, or sensible other stuff, but no big speakers, neons etc!

Preferably with a good service history, not worried about a stamped book, but proof of regular oil changes and being well looked after would be nice.

I'm on the East Coast (30 mins from Norwich) and don't have time to travel to the other side of the country unfortunately, so within an hours drive of Norwich of Ipswich is doable.

Budget up to £3k.

Cheers x

I was looking to sell mine in the very near future, but probably for a bit more than you were looking for.

Mine is a 54 plate 2005 registered 182 FF (Both cup packs).
Currently on 59976 miles. Standard apart from some uprated brakes.
It's in a rare colour (Inferno Orange) about 116 made with my specs.

Service history is pretty perfect.

Mark Fish Motorsport mostly.
All belts done twice, and won't need doing for a while.

I was looking for £4k for it.

Tax is until 28 Feb 2015 (just put new tax at £260 on)
MOT is until 21st September 2015

It's a brilliant car, and would be sad to see it go, but ideally need a bigger car.

Hi Ayman

Thanks for responding, I actually went to see a 172 last night and bought that.

If you'd like some advice, don't sell. Good ones are incredibly difficult to come by and i'd been searching for months, got a bit desperate and posted on here then found one 60 miles away.

I absolutely love it.

If you're selling because you have children on the way, then I can honestly say we coped with 2 kids in a hatchback (they're now 8 and 6) don't buy an MPV or something sensible, as it'll destroy your soul hehe

I wish i'd never sold the Cerb, but the wife wouldn't drive it. The Clio is perfect for her and gives me the little bit of speed I crave.

Hi,

I am only thinking of selling as I would prefer a bigger car.

I had a E34 525iSE and a Volvo S40 before this, and it just seems too small.

So I am looking at getting another E34... 540i probably, or a 740i E38.

The car is absolutely fine. I'm not having children, I just need a bigger car.

It's pretty perfect. I spent over a year looking for the perfect one, it's Inferno Orange, and pretty brilliant.

Mileage has just ticked over 60k, and it's still brilliant!

I hope you enjoy yours, as I have done with mine. Just need something bigger.

If you need any advice, don't hesitate to ask!

Ayman
