Honestly, its far easier asking here then speaking with the local Renault dealer or signing in to Various Renault Forums so here goes, at what mileage should the cam belt on a 2.0 n/a Megane be changed??

My R26 has a 2 litre turbo - all the belts were done @ 5 years or earlier if you have 60k on the clock.

5 years or 72k offically. I would be replacing at 40k or 3 years personally
Or lend out that gorgeous series 3 for the weekend in exchange for free labour on a cambelt change whistle

Personally I wouldn't let anyone get there grubby hands on s111 including me !

Loose cannon (not a Gooner by any chance) that's seems like a fair swap, although the V12 is caput at the mo, need to investigate why its chewed its head gaskets, yes both of 'em...
I'll keep you posted as to how the Cambelt change goes...

Sorry to hear that, I hope you get it sorted looks very nice in silver with the lattice wheels,
Those and kent alloys are my favourite smile though it's been a few years since I've owned 1
Good luck with the belt on the meg, no not really a gooner my name is from an old computer game from years ago but I am enjoying the fact there keeping the mancs off top spot biggrin

Their 16" lattice's so I had to change offsets etc and trim the rear arches as well. Now she's in the garage I will be stripping the top half down to investigate, got my eye on a 6.0 or 7.4 Lire power house.... but need a lottery win first! I like the kents but the tyre profile was too large for the way I drive!
I'll keep you posted when I can be bothered to do the cam belt, but if your ever in Bisley let me know and you can give us some pointers!!!!
