Brakes are binding on gf's 206 1.1 LX
Jacked up (all 4 in air) and n/s wheels spin when pushed.. but o/s wheels (BOTH) do not spin when pushed.
Been told the brakes are binding.
As the mechanic won't know issue until starts working on it, he quoted too much really.
I have seen 2 common issues are dodgy calipers and also the brake light switch/wire stuck on.
Any 206'ers want to lend me some advice on what I can check things, and how they are fixed.
E.g. If it's calipers are bodged, is it just a replacement?
Thanks!

Those 206`s have simple brakes..........As above, pads stuck in front calipers, strip clean & "coperslip" job.Rear brake may be h/brake cable sticking or the h/brake pivots inside the drum. All elementary stuff should not be expensive.
As for the brake light switch you mention, that`s a typical 206 fault. Its on the n/side by the passenger`s feet and gets knocked causing the brake lights to stay on.Its just a plastic push in switch and nothing to do with brakes binding.
