2003 renault megane 1.6 wont start

Hey.

I aave a 2003 megane. The battery died. I Jumped it. It ran. Took the battery off and charged it. Stuck the battery back on and now the car wont start.

I stick the card in. Press the brake. Press the start button and nothing happens. It just tells me to remove card.

Can anyone make any suggestions?

Some info that might help:
- When i put the card in the car makes too beeps.
- Sometimes before it tells me to take the card out it says 'steering not locked'
- when i 1st put the battery back on it said 'electrical fault'. But hasnt displayed this since

Make sure you got all the leads back on the terminals then check the fuses on top of the positive terminal
