Could I get an opinion on this 172 Cup, please?

I know the mileage is a little high, but this seems like quite a lot of car for the money. Could someone who knows 172s lend an opinion?

As I understand it, main things to check/budget for are a recent cambelt change and electrical niggles?

(Ex 182 owner here). The advert doesn't include previous owners or any service history info, so very hard to say. Looks on the face of things to be in good enough condition, but I know first hand of a bargain 172 owner who found it to be a huge money pit, so with that sort of mileage a lot could be in need of refreshing.

That was more or less my assumption ... could be good if it's been looked after, but virtually everything will be showing signs of wear after 100,000+ miles.

There was a nice low mileage example advertised on here recently but it was literally twice the price.

Is it just the usual cumulative wear to watch out for or are there any particular quirks to be aware of with the 172?
