Hi guys

Just brought myself a rs200 clio with recaro's and cup chassis biggrin

Anyway, the guy selling it to me reckons it needs new pads, car does stop well, but the pedal is soft.

Just wondering whether you think that new pads will sort it out, or will it need more work. Also what pedal feel do your cars have?

Thanks guys!

What's the feel like when the brakes are up to temperature?

Pretty consistently firm pedal here. Maybe yours need bleeding to remove some air in the system?

The front caliper config can cause the pads to stick so it may be worth getting the pads checked before replacing.

When I had mine the brakes were amazing and consistent (Hard pedal).

Thanks for replies.

Not driven it for long period of time, but guy selling has and says he feels they need changing.

So firm peddles all round, when the car arrives I will have a good look. Has been really looked after but I guess could be something simple.

So note a usual issue which is good news, so hopefully a simple fix.
