Hey guys, you may get fed up of this, but I need the code for a Phillips radio cassette for my Berlingo.
Model is 22rc200/35.Prod number fd0900439167891.Serial number is PHACFFY9167891.
Citroen ref is 96 392 192 8001
PHF9167891.
That is every bit of info on the chassis of the radio. I know this one needs a code, as opposed to being linked to the vehicle vin number.
Thanks in advance guys.
Pete.

Well then, unless I am being a thicko - a call / visit to a Citroen main dealer will provide the code you need, no?

Yes Ray, a call would, but then I would be between 25 to 50 quid lighter in the wallet, and being Welsh, am disinclined to shell out that amount for something that can be found by someone with the correct software in about 10 seconds and 3 key strokes lol.

Cough...bloody hell, how much???

I bought a Porsche 911 in 2007 - disconnected the battery, needed a radio code. Phoned a Porsche main dealer, gave the chassis number, got the code over the phone for free! I assumed all dealers would do this? Do Citroen want money then? The bds!

Sadly Ray, these days the vast majority of dealers charge around the 25 to 50 quid mark for a code. I got the code for my Mrs old clio stereo off a free site, but cant find one that deals with the phillips ones as fitted into the citroens....I may well end up buying a secnd hand one from the local scrappy, at a tenner it is still cheaper than paying the dealer lol

Sadly, I do not know who the supplying dealer was, I got the vehicle from a friend, who got it from auction...... Methinks a visit to the scrappy for a second hand unit is forthcoming lol

that's odd.

Google search - unlock code berlingo radio
it comes up as the first item (forum.legija) seems to be a group of people who provide useful info for free

Hi Fake, Have tried the forum you suggest, seems to be a problem with their server, ( You have to be registered to access their forum to get the code), I have now tried 7 times but their server will not accept my e mail as a valid account! Google search only gives sites that charge more than the worth, I can get a second hand one for a tenner lol. Thanks for the info though

Pete
