Hi,
A chap at work has a 307 diesel 2 litre turbo with an odd starting issue.
The car starts Ok in the morning when cold and in the evening when he leaves work to return home.
However, If he stops for 5 minutes after the engine has warmed up then tries to restart the engine it takes ages before it eventually starts.
A couple of times the battery has almost rundown before the engine finally starts.
Any ideas as to why, sensors, fuel pump, injectors?
Any thoughts?
Cheers,
Paul

A code read and injector leak off test would be the best way forward.

No problem, poor hot starting is often an injector out of tolerance.
