Am I right in thinking that the GTi will be celebrating 30 years since its introduction next April? If so does anyone know of any events or runs that will be taking place to commemorate this?

The Peugeot Sport Club is your best bet www.pscuk.net every year they have "The Pug Fest" so next year they may have something special? You can also contact www.clubpeugeotuk.org .Mind you I`m sure something will happen in France with Peugeot HQ.

Thanks for that, I've emailed Club Peugeot, just waiting to hear back. Seems a shame to let such a milestone pass without some type of gathering.

A bunch of us are going on a 'Scandic Scramble' road trip which coincides with the 30 year anniversary, you should come along too!

We did a 'Eurotrip' in 2009 for the 25th anniversary which was a huge success and so much fun smile

Right OK, I'm quite up for this, how many hours driving per day do you think we'd be doing? Might have to take out my original head unit for the trip!

It's only 1200 miles in 7 days, so 180 odd miles per day. The 2009 Eurotrip I ended up doing about 3500 miles in 10 days and that didn't feel like a lot of driving to me.

Join up to the forum and show your interest smile Try and get a passenger to come along too to share costs and driving if necessary smile

Yeah sorry, I just put that into context, I'm sure I've done that in a day before (albeit not in a 205!) so it's doable. Just got to convince my girlfriend that she doesn't need to go to St. Tropez this summer. Her name is Heidi and she is a quarter Danish and has Danish cousins so I'm sure I can get her on board!

Peugeot Sport Club UK (PSCUK)will again be hosting Pugfest at the beautiful Prescott Hill in Gotherington, Gloucestershire on Sunday 13 July 2014.

More details here - www.pugfest.co.uk,www.pscuk.net.

We are planning to gather all 205 GTIs together just for this year, both PSCUK members and invited clubs and park the cars in colour groupings. In addition we will be running a cavalcade over the lunch period with all 205 GTIs too. All PSCUK members who are planning to attend in other Peugeots will still have access paddock side as normal. Please remember to bring your membership card to get you car into the paddock.

If you are neither a PSCUK member or part of an invited club unfortunately you will be parked in the public car park.

Membership including a 1/4ly magazine is just 20 per year and guarantees paddock access and addition non Pugfest related benefits too.

Event only ticket prices from this year will be £11 on the gate and to non members in advance, members remain at £8 by advance booking only.

Camping remains at £15 member and £20 non member. Hill runs will be £7 each in 2014.

Tickets will be on sale via our forum shop in late April/early May.

We will also be launching our new 205 GTI 30th website in the coming weeks with details of a planned French trip later in the year on there and this will be shared on the forum too.

Please spread the word to maximise the number of 205 GTIs in attendance. We look forward to seeing you there!
