Hi, time have come to sell my continental 205 rallye, it's in a bit of a state and can't see myself finding the time to put it back on the road, it needs the rear axle refurbishing, and an engine rebuild its a non runner at the moment as the engine is dismantled after a head gasket failure. It needs a new front wing as its gone a bit rusty and the wheels need refurbishing too.
I got someone interested but don't know what it is worth, as I can't find an other for sale to compare.
Really hope someone can give me some advise.
Many thanks francesco

Think it might help if you posted some pictures, to gauge interest and advice

Not much by the sound of it.
Let them have it for about £200/250 as scrap would be around the £80 and it's going to cost them a lot more to get up to scratch than what its worth.
But its worth something as its a sporty 205 and there's some scene tax there to pay.

Good ones seem to go for €4k+ in Europe, as do 106's. But used cars are more expensive on the continent!

Personally I think you should base your price around that of a similar s1 106 Rallye (ignore prices of uk 205 Rallyes as they're nothing special). However, being as it's LHD you could make more advertising it overseas, but potentially it would be more hassle.

If the shell is any good and not rusty as a pear, it has the original gearbox and hasn't been 'modded' and/or abused it should be worth around £500 IMO. But photos would help!

Thanks for that, no the car it's really rusty, only the wheels and one wing wich is a replaced one. I know in Italy they fetch good money but here people seem to confuse them with the uk version. I've asked the guy to make me an offer, But feel that I may keep it after all as I honestly think they are terrible undervalued, it would feel terrible seeing the car go for few hundred pounds. Been thinking a lot about it, axles are readilly available fully refurbished, and the engine would be a nice evening job if only I could find the time.
Thanks again to everybody for your imput.
