What do you boys recon this Twingo Cup is worth?

My Brother in law has got himself into a spot of bother, he got caught drink driving a few months back and was banned. He has a twingo 133 cup in white with black gloss wheels and detail (spoiler etc) it's a 2010 on a 10, because of his ban it's not been serviced (it's done 12,500 miles) has no tax & MOT and needs 2 front tyres.
It is a very straight car that he has owned from new and aside from a couple of scuffs on the alloys it's immaculate.
Basically he is now in a spot of financial bother and needs to sell it, but he's struggling to get it MOT'd, insured and taxed because of his ban.
As a favour I think I'm going to buy it off him and give it to the Mrs, I'm thinking £5,000 as I reckon it needs £500 - £700 spending on it.
Any ideas, am I miles away on valuation? I reckon it's a strong bid.
