I own a Renault Wind 1.2 Tce GT

Standard it comes with 100 bhp (97 real bhp).. after a list of mods it ends up at 127 bhp & 190 Nm
Also with some Coilovers, OZ wheels, etc..

Now recently I'm kind of uncertain what to do.

I really love this car (it is my first own car) but I wouldn't mind some extra pony's (150 bhp) but achieving this would be demanding of me to throw some money into it.

Should I just enjoy as it is.. it's stupid to mod an engine that's 'only' a 1.2 turbo and save for something with more power in the future?

Or just do it and do something crazy?

An engine transplant? 2.0 from a 172/182/200 might fit. Don't really know much about the winds tbh...

p.s. found this: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?4278... supposedly the wind and twingo are nigh on the same bar obvious cosmetic differences so that'd be interesting right?

I know a Megane 225 engine fits as someone from Clio200.net is doing it to a Twingo.

But, unfortunatly I live in Belgium and an engine swap is treated like a felony here..

And braided brake lines, bigger brake discs, exhausts (without the right papers).

I asked this question on PH because most people here are more mature in engine performance and gas guzzeling V8's

The Wind is basically a Twingo RS but a roadster. It comes in 2 engine sizes, the 1.2 TCe GT or the 1.6 VVT RS engine, the rest stays the same.

If you really love the wind I'd suggest you just upgrade and get the 1.6 version and save yourself a lot of cash. Spending loads on upgrading it would be throwing money away, and wouldn't add to the resale value unless you take all the parts off.
