Megane 250. Loud pop on idle - after running

I always let the turbo spool down for about 20-30secs after a run. After a more spirited run, I leave it a bit longer, say 60secs. I have noticed however, that after about 60secs - a loud pop (almost like a firecracker) occurs either at the front of the exhaust system - or within the engine itself.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be??

Is this with the engine still running? It's not the exhaust 'ticking' as it cools down?

Definitely not the exhaust cooling down mate, and yeah engine still running at this time. It's almost like a mis-fire - but this is the only time it every does it, so doesn't seem that it would be.
