peugeot 207 water drip

Can anyone help with my 207 problem?
Recently a small amount of clear water, doesn't smell either, drips from the behind the plastic trim (bit which meets the carpet near the floor)on the right hand side of the front passenger foot well. I can pull the lower plastic trim away which reveals not a lot but there is a bit of foam squashed in between other bits of kit which is damp to touch.
Could it be the aircon humidity drain not running outside properly? or something worse? It looks a major job to find out where its coming from though.
