Wife's 207 CC is an 08 with about 60K+ miles on the clock. It was on Peugeot's main dealer service (20K) intervals until last year when they said go to 10K service. Latest service my local garage. Had new Cats and sensors under warranty but over the last year has started burning oil. Definitely smells a bit of oil and the exhaust looks a bit blacker than I would expect. Uses most on long journeys 200+ miles seeming less on the daily commute. Since the last check it has started using water, possibly as much as 100ml just yesterday. Not been sniff tested but no oil film on water , no emulsion evident in oil. Is this two un related issues ? Oil burn standard (it is within spec and not as much as my old Alfa TS) and water loss. Thermostat housing ? Pipes . Oil cooler ? Not sure where to look. Based in Kent , bought car at Canterbury and they were crap and they have now moved. Peugeot Maidstone ? Any specialists ?

Thanks

Maybe time to get rid?
I have been using Peugeot Robins & Day in Maidstone for nearly 20 years with little to complain about, usually excellent service. Because they are a big dealer I figure they will have more experience of all the faults you could get and more likely to have parts in stock than a smaller dealer.
There is a Pug dealer who also deals Nissan about 20 mile SE of Maidstone. I won't be using them again.
They failed miserably to cure several faults on my car which R&D Maidstone sorted out quickly with no drama.
