Been unveiled today, beautiful, and takes attention away from slating the new clio rs.

The Renault Twin'Run concept, a car designed to be a spiritual successor to the R5 Turbo and Clio V6, has been unveiled at the Monaco Grand Prix circuit.

Was going to post up but thought PH would be running it on the homepage.

Brilliant concept, lets just hope it spawns something special from it. Maybe an RS version with the Clio's engine in it

Everyone loves a concept.....

Another tubular chassis, one off, extreme special just like the Alpine/Caterham concept, that of course will end up being be nothing like the original concept vehicle in any way, shape or form.

Always nice to spend money and stimulate some interest, but at the moment Renault needs to put it's money into cars people want to actually buy.

It's previously been on the PH homepage.

They did it with the other cars mentioned... no reason why they couldn't again.

I know, but that was a video from someone on a phone, this is the official release.

EVO is running it, as is autocar too. Maybe still typing up at PH towers, or seeing if the Pic, Ragnotti, Tavares video materialises as well as the girls (nothing wrong with them though)

Take my money!!

Rumor has it that the new Twingo will be rear-engined, rear wheel drive as it's sharing it's chassis with the new Smart car. No reason why Renault wouldn't release one with a turbo and a bit of poke!

Nah mate the girl looks ok wink

320 bhp apparently confirmed.

These 3 been in Monaco today and i think one of them gonna be in the usual Renault spot (chicane after the tunnel) during the race.

Nothing can beat this ^ ^

Looks like a future Twingo to me(twin-go / twin-run). Same sort of shape inside and out, I do like it though.

Looks like Renault has been taken over by a bunch of the marketing men directing engineers to stick another plastic body on a tubular race chassis.

Come on Renault, bin all those marketing dead weights and start putting your money into a decent product led recovery.

What would the customer really prefer? A manual gearbox option on a lighter Clio RS 200T or this YouTube type media with a bit of skirt to spice it up for a concept that will never, ever make production?

The showroom is mostly full of tat and this stuff is still being pumped out.

Watched the Vid and it only stood out because of the awful colours on the car. Paint it black like the other two cars and it would not really stand out. I prefer the 5 to be honest, I think Renault can do better IMHO.

Looks like a Fiat 500 with a Volvo C30 rear end grafted on!

Awful colours? It's a hairs breadth away from the greatest racing livery ever...

I think you`re missing the point, a car doesn`t need masses of gawdy paint to look good, IMHO.

Ah, my apologies, I didn't realise that awful really meant unnecessary.

Sticking Gulf colours on something that does not warrant it is an awful decision.
