Firstly are these good cars? anything i should look for? It's a 59 plate with just 16k on clock!

Hasn't arrived in stock yet but manager said he would call me when its in smile

Me and my fiance are looking for a compromise in a car, she would like a convertible and i would like something with a bit of power.

Looking online it's not the fastest with 0-60 in 10 secs but it is a 1.6 turbo which means i can get some power out of it evil

So has anyone done or know anyone with a remap or remap + exhaust; i would interested in the figures - looking for sub 9 secs ideally. (i know i know these don't mean much but i do want fast acceleration etc onto motorway etc)

Cheers

I had 2 diesels. I always thought it was a very capable car. Never going to be a sports car by any stretch of the imagination but for motorway cruising it is great.

I believe the THP engine can be mapped to 200 without placing too much stress on it.

I took both of mine all over Europe and would happily do the same again.

I might look at the diesel too and save for a kit car or something.
Is the 2 liter capable? I.e not too underpowered to put you in sticky situations such as pulling out onto a 50mph road etc

I'd rather the diesel to be honest and generally I prefer petrol. It pulls at low revs effortlessly and from what I can remember was pretty good on fuel. It's strange though, if it was the RCZ I'd go for the petrol.

The CC is not designed to be driven hard so it suits a diesel.

Also I think it's much nicer to drive on the 17s of the SE than the 18s of the GT.
