I've posted this in the North East section, but just on the off chance...
Does anyone have a 1.1 5 speed, or VTS / GTi gearbox that they'd like to offroad for some monies? My diff has expired, and ideally I was hoping to replace it over the bank holiday weekend.
Typically there was 3 or 4 for sale on the owners forums a few weeks ago for around the £50-60 mark, but now there's none and I'm looking at £100+ before £60-70 shipping from any breakers on a popular internet auction website lol.
Not that I'm overly fussy, but 97 onwards as well, I had the plug in speedo drive not the cable
