Guys, hope you can help. My mate has a Renault Trafic and it cuts out at junctions and will only start again with 'easy-start'. He has already been royaly ripped off by someone who was supposed to have fixed it [I know, take it back etc, he has, no joy] can ayone point towards where the problem may be? Cheers.

Thanks Paul, [a TVR bloke too] I'll have a look for him. It was supposed to be fixed with a service but can't see that the service was even done let alone the fault furious Appreciate any help.

In my opinion the New Traffic has an inherent problem with the crank sensor, my brothers company has 15 of them from 2010 to 2013 and has had about 50% into Renault with cutting out and not starting.

If you unplug the crank sensor, clean the plug and refit, it will start and run again. Renault have changed sensors, plugs (looms) and they're still coming back with the same problem.

Very strange problem.
