Did any 205 GTIs have painted bumpers from factory?
Discussion
One of the niggling things about some 205 GTIs that come up is faded plastics. Not a big deal though as I'm guessing those who restore them simply have the plastic spray painted black.
However, this car is on eBay and appears that all the usual plastic bits (front and rear bumpers and side parts) are all painted - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-1-9-205-Gti-/150...
Was this an option from new or likely something a prior owner has had done??

As said they were never painted. It's been done by a previous owner at some point in the life of the car.
So much for the seller claiming "Original & Unmolested" then
For £4k you think they'd also have fixed the rather noticeably broken/loose rear tailgate trim that looks like it's been stuck on when a respray was done, rather than clipped back on like the original, before taking pics
