Hi i have just purchased a 205gti with an mi16 engine, it goes well but it wants to wander to the right when accellerating, and wander back when decellerating.
Can anyone tell me why,and what ican do to solve this problem

Cheers.

Your wishbone bushes probably need changing. Don't go after market, just normal pug are the best and only cost around 27 for the set including bolts.

You could say that but actually it's likely 99% to be worn wishbone bushes.
Hold it at 60 on the motorway, gently increase power and it will veer off. Ease of and it will return to the lane it has just left!

As per other posters, 99% going to be worn wishbone bushes. You can replace or upgrade to 309 front wishbones which are a little longer and consequently give you a little more negative camber at the front. I did it on mine back in the day.

It's not torque steer if it pulls one way under load, and then the opposite on the overrun! As stated, it's probably bushes.

That or tracking/un-even tyre wear/differing tyre pressures etc

Its not torque steer.
Its either the wishbone bushes as said or a loose/dodgy TRE
