Hi guys,
recently had a couple of issues with my DS3. Its a 12 plate, 1.6 VTi D-Style+.
In the New Year I had it in as the handbrake stuck on if parked for more than a couple of hours, then in the last week the temperature gauge has started going haywire for the first hour or so of running. It stays at 'cold' and then suddenly leaps to operating temperature, then slowly drops to somewhere in the middle and fluctuates every few minutes.
Took it to Citroen this morning and they've just rung to say they can't find a fault...
Love the car, but these niggles are starting to p**s me off. It's only done 8000, makes me wonder what next?!

Anybody know of these being a regular issue?

The handbrake problem may have been nothing more than the pads rusting to the discs, not a problem unique to Citroens.

The temperature problem sounds suspiciously like a failed temperature sensor, which apparently a few VTi's have suffered from . . . probably one of the German bits that's failed!

our ds4 has the sticking electronic parking brake problem. pretty annoying as when the car jams to a halt at the slightest touch of the brake. engaging and disengaging the brake 4 times or so usually frees it off.
