Any idea what this part is? Peugeot 806 HDI 2.0


Sorry not mechanically minded but there is a clicking and high pitched squeeling sound coming from it after the engine has been turned off.

Oh and smoke aswell. Doesn't sound good!

Will try and get a better pic tomorrow.
It looks like coolant pipes go into it.

Ok i think it is a Pre Heater unit as I've managed to identify Webasto on the label. What does this unit do? thanks

It is a webasto heater it aids the heating up process and rear heating in the cab.
