Hi guys, I bought a 03 Trafic SL27 DCI a few months back for work and its been great. In the last few weeks its been really sluggish under 2000 revs until the turbo spools up. It's like the revs are struggling to rise but then after 2000 revs it's ok. I took out and cleaned the egr valve which was filthy but never made any difference to the revs low down but did seem to let the van pull more in higher revs. The van felt really powerful (for a van) when I first got it but now there's something not quite right, any help is appreciated.
Another quick question please. When I bought the van I done a My Car Check on it and it listed the van as having 143 BHP, does this sound correct?
Many thanks.

I'm looking in this forum area because I've got a power problem on a HDi 307 and happened to read your thread. I'd be thinking about the MAF sensor first, but a diag should be able to tell you more. Definitely sounds sensor related

Very common for the air flow metres to give an issue like this, try it unplugged first and see how it drives, if it improves then you have an issue there.
