Citroen XM - where are they?
Discussion
When i way a young lad, my father test drove the 'then' brand new Citroen XM. I went on the test drive and just thought the car was amazing.
Sadly, in the end he kept the Sierra Ghia 4x4 Estate he had for another 6 months and then bought a Renault 21 Turbo.
Even now i look at XM's and think they are stunning (especialy the pre face lift cars in Black with the polished wheel trims)
So much so, that i thought i would have a hunt for an early Diesel XM
But i just cant find any (there were 3 on E-bay but all later cars and in colours i dont like) and 4 on the Autotrader, with not one to be found here on PH.
The other thing i noticed, is that they were commanding more money than i thought they would - Which is fine if thats what they are worth, then thats what i'll pay.
So, is it a case that not many were sold in the uk or have most broken and been scrapped, or do owner just hold on to them?
I wonder what my chances are, of finding a dark Metalic Grey, Diesel, pre-facelift XM with velour?
