I notice in the r26r adverts pistonheads essential part it says 33 mpg well I get nowhere near it i get 23mpg at best.

Don't know if it makes a difference but mine is stage 2. What mpg are others getting? not that I care about mpg in this car but interesting to know.

Can remember what MPG I was getting but I know mine (also stage 2'd) would do 4 laps of the nordschleife before the light came on. and a set of R888's over 1 weekend there. Overall I think my CSL has been cheaper to run.

I think if you drove it normally you can get 30+ mpg, I got that out of my 225 when I was gentle

Poddling over to spa I was getting over 40mpg.

Changed a bit going round mind!!

Yeah, massaging the throttle on a motorway run, I could get 40mpg+ in my R26/R26.R if I really wanted to.

Never bothered checking on track!

For reference I paid 18k for mine with less than half the miles of this one and 1 year old.

Is that the real R26.R cage? Weren't the standard cages all red?

Well spotted. Probably one of the ones delivered with no cage.

Its No.47 im sure someone will have the numbers and original spec list to hand.
