Hello,

My RS200 is due its first service. I currently have an offer from my local main dealer to service it for free owing to some mistakes they made during the initial purchase (it's a long story...)

However, I gather that there are a number of 'specialist' RS main dealers around the country. So, will my local non-specialist main dealer do a satisfactory job, or should I pay and go to a specialist one?

Can anyone offer any experience?

Cheers!

Let the dealer do the free service.

Echo the above, let them rekindle the relationship with you, it's a free service, a stamp in the service book, what can go wrong?

It's an oil and filter change, not major surgery.

Take them up on their offer. If you are worried about their standard of work tell them what you expect from the outset; ie no cockups.
