Gearboxes that will fit clio williams f7r

Looking for a cable change gearbox that'll mount onto the f7r engine so i can midmount it in a kit car.

Any renualt buffs got any idea?

I don't know of any Renault with cable change, at all. Not even the rear engined GTA.

Certainly nothing of that era, which is my 'thing'. The linkage for the JB and JC series boxes can be reversed under the car though (and extended) i've seen it done a few times. It's very basic, one rod with a couple of bends in it.

Dave, i got under the car the other day and found that the change is on the bottom of the box. As you said, this means it can be reversed and made to fit in a mid engine layout.
