Dont waste money of bhp figures as its money down the pan unless youve got big pockets n want to go down the turbo/SC route.
But best performance mods would be..
-Whiteline ARB
-Brembo HC disks
-Ferrodo DS2500 pads
-Braided lines
-Good tyres
Done
I have all the above, plus exhaust (old ones rot) and the car is ideal. Stopping power from them brakes is immense. I stuck Hankook R-S2 tyres on mine but they're no longer made, not sure what the alternative is nowDont waste money of bhp figures as its money down the pan unless youve got big pockets n want to go down the turbo/SC route.

Thanks both of you.Which exhausts?
Lots of people seem to have the Scorpion RS 192.
I want added performance and enhanced sound without the full chav bean can style/volume!
The Akrapovic equivalent!?

My 172ph1 had some sort of stealth exhaust so not really relevant to your 182 exhaustWhich exhausts?

Eibach seem to be the "done thing" regarding springs. Got them on mine and been very good at retaining ride and making it a bit less wobbly.
Upgrade the pads/fluid if you're tracking it and get some Prima Racing exhaust mounts unless you want to buy new Renault jobbies every 6 months. The exhaust on any you look at will probably have fallen off by now and been replaced and Cliosport seem to favour "yozza" which I gather is very loud/obnoxious although I've not heard one myself. Mine has a Powerflow who seem to be the antichrist on the Clio forums but mine's been very good and makes a nice noise without being chavvy or annoying.
I gather a remap by RStuner improves driveability considerably and will be investigating this after I've been robbed for some new tyres.
