Just picked up a RS200 cup (2009) and trying to work out what the service interval is supposed to be. The manual is difficult to follow, but it SEEMS to be every 2 years or 12,000 miles whichever comes first. Is that right?

Correct, though I did mine after a year, more for piece of mind than anything

Thanks. That's what I thought. Current service history is fine then.

I've always thought it was 12k or 12 months. Is on 197 not sure why 200 would be different.

Unless it's the first service is 2 yrs

The intervals changed on the 200. I seem to remember on the latter 200s that they changed back to yearly intervals though

Mine's booked in for first proper dealer service next week at 12,000m and 3years, they have this on their classification as a 'minor' service.

After some badgering last year they agreed to do an 'interim' service that was really just an inspection.

They tell me that the next one will be a 'Major' with new brake fluid etc.

Looking forward to the following month having a KW1 suspension kit fitted by Total Control Racing, should be the finishing touch to my Cup. biggrin
