Our lad has a Citroen C4 1.6 (petrol) VTR Coupe (and hes not a hairdresser!)
he tells me he had a burning smell, now has a vibration, and whilst driving, if he slows down and doesnt change down, his clutch pedal is going down somewhat, his clutch isnt slipping
im thinking release bearing? or the clutch yoke at the bearing end is toast?
cheers in advance
kids eh, who would have em...

i drove it yesterday
VERY slight whine in neutral, much worse as the clutch pedal is pressed down, when driving theres only noise as you change gear, none whilst just driving along
Vibration at pedal is when asking the engine to work at lower RPM, its a hydraulic clutch so its not a warped friction plate flapping about like ive had in a Citroen van.
smell like brake pad hot when we got back, but that COULD have been a pad, hes had some squealing of late
driving a 1600cc petrol made me realise how good my 2.0ltr TDCI Mk3 130ps Mondeo is!
