Hi all,

my newly aquired Peugeot Boxer (2004 2.2hdi ) wouldnt start today after a 380 mile round trip the day previous (without any problems).

She is turning over, just not kicking in. The immobiliser light comes on but goes off when you start to turn her over which makes me think its the immobiliser (typical for something to happen when i have just spent £1400 on the gearbox a few weeks ago)

Anyway, does anyone know how i can bypass the immobiliser so i can get her going again ? Im self employed and due to van being in the garage, the weather and me trying to take my finger off with a stanley knife ive probably managed 2 weeks work in the last 6 weeks and im gettting more and more behind.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

When you turn the ignition on does the key light stay on or go out? If it stays on i'm afraid you will need the immobiliser and the ecu recoding.I've just had one done at Autotronics at leicester £185, very quick service.
