206 Cambelt

Anyone know Cambelt interval for a 1.4 2001 206 ? Nothing in handbook , Internet seems to throw up different intervals somewhere between 50k and 70k .

I always start talking cam belts to my Peugeot customers at 70K and recommend we do the job at the big "C" service at 80K.In the 80`s when that engine first appeared the cam belt change was shown in the service book as part of the big 72K service.Its a very simple job so not very expensive,get it done.

I know this is really late but in the interest of completeness... It should be 80k on the 8-valve TU engined cars. A 2001 could be 8 valve or the new 16 valve engine which will be different. The 16v being new that year, I would play it safe with regards cambelts.
