Hello all,

clearing out my parents porch i came across some rear brake calipers that came off my 306 a few years ago, they were almost new with maybe a couple of months use. They came off becuase i replaced the whole rear axle with a second hand part from a scrappy and the garage left the old calipers on the axle and gave me the new ones back.

if anyone wants them they can have them. They have been sat in a cardboard box for at least 2 years so i have no idea if this will have affected their condition, but they have been completely dry etc as they were in the porch.

I cant be bothered selling them on ebay and dont want any money for them so pm me or reply on this thread if you want them!

ta, James

They might actually be worth something. Fitted to XS, XSI, S16, GTI-6, HDI and all 1.8 and 2.0 petrol variants of the 306. Also popped up on Clio's and 205's amongst others. They're also not very well designed so a common thing to go wrong and need replacing. Good/non siezed ones for sale are rare.

That's why i have them, the previous ones had seized so these were the replacements, but were only on the car for a few months before i replaced the back axle.

If no one wants them i will put them on ebay, but i would rather give them away tbh. I had totally forgotten i had them an cant really be bothered with the hassle of ebay!

Hi mate, pm me with your location etc. and we can arrange. If you can pick them up that will be easier, but depends on where you are based!

Yeah, i had mine seize about 15 minutes from exeter and had to get a lift back to surrey on a flatbed!

My brother lives in Leeds, but no plans to go up anytime soon so i don't suppose it would be any use to you.

Anyway A205gti has first dibs on them if he gets back to me!
