I will need to get a service on my R27 in October and just wondered where those from Nottingham are happy taking the car for servicing?

Should I avoid Renault dealers like the plague or is there one locally with a good reputation?

Any advice will be much appreciated!

Hi Raptor, this was the one I was going to recommend. Did an absolutely fantastic job and I'm definitely going back! thumbup

A bit of a drive up the M1, but Harratts Renault at Wakefield are fantastic, they'll probably match the independent price. Honestly the best garage around, I even still take the 11yr old 172 track car there.

Ask for Adam when you call and say you got it from Danny smile

Perfect - that's that sorted then!

My R27 has done 30k miles and was last serviced in October 2011. Since the last service it has only done 3k miles and I only do about 3k miles a year. (I just bought the car).

Am I right in thinking I need the timing belt doing in October (as it will be 5 years old) but the next service will not be until October 2013? (ie every 2 years or 12k miles).

I'm not sure about the 197, but that sounds about right for the timing belt.

Great smile

Does anyone else know anymore about the service intervals?

Servicing is 12k or every 2 years.

Aux belt is every 3 years.

Cam belt is 72k or every 5 years.

Dont avoid the aux belt and relative tensioner and pulleys at 3 years as this is the weak point! Horror stories of tensioners failing....
