Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a Citroen xsara vts '98 done about 100k miles as a track day car.

It's fairly cheap (currently on eBay £305) is there anything specific that I should look for when I go & see the car.

Many thanks

Pete

From the top of my head..

Timing Belt make sure this has been done, service period is every 38K if memory serves me right. Also check worn rear bushes and drop links/ARB bushes.

Good car is the Xsara VTS, it's not going to win any beauty contests, but they go well. Tire choice i found is critical to avoid excessive lift off oversteer

Thanks of that what would be the ballpark value of one that's done around 100k? It's a '98

no more than £700 and it would have to be a spanker for that money... They really do not hold their value.
