registered a week ago and still waiting for completion by an administrator.

Yup!
Sorry for the delay, but be patient, he's trying to organise about three events at the moment and has gone to France this weekend to do a a big Alpine rally near Macon with about 10 UK members and an association of French alpine clubs.
He should be back on track early next week, however, next weekend is the Vie en Bleu weekend at Prescott, so several of us going to that event - anywhere near you? It's a pretty good event.
Which model are you considering?

Me too! I've given up trying to be honest. I've tried with 3 different email addresses in the last year, and all I get back is the initial response. The confirmation never, ever arrives, despite several enquiries. I still get all the notifications of events mind, so I will pop over to Prescot next weekend to try to sort it out face to face.

I've got two nice examples and would like to get involved more.

Known the car for years and it has stood a long time.
I would love to talk to other owners about spares availability, likely repairs, mods when original bits are no longer available, like rear lights etc etc etc
I am beginning to think I could be "left on my own" here and am having second thoughts.

Shame. Please get to Prescott if you can. There will be a loads of Alpines and it is really a great weekend with Bugatti's, Ferrari's etc going up the hillclimb course. Sunday is usually the best day. There will be a number of people around the Renault motorhome wearing RAOC polo's/rain jackets!. Ask any of us for advice or to point out Mr Dell.

the club is run by stephen dell but he gets inundated with so many emails and enquiries the best way of contact would be to call. you should be able to get the details from the contact page. this is not ideal but once you can post on the forum there are plenty of members/owners that will help with advice etc. keep trying its a great club
and if any of you can make it to prescott, i'll see you there.

Hi, yes if you look you're actually now both in.

Sorry for the delay guys but I'm in the south of France on a rally and only just got to play with the hotel wifi tonight.

Spam bots are out of control due to the Clubs high google ranking and it does say when you apply please choose a name that sounds like it's a person or someone remotely interested in cars or alpines and/or email to say you are genuine.

Simply mentioning Alpines or Renaults in your interests when registering would move things along quicker.

Anyway welcome to the website and I hope you find the car you are looking for. Good luck and hope to see you at some shows soon!

go on the raoc website, go to events and meetings, look for the prescott thread. all details are there. its a bit close might be a good idea to give steve a call.
