Hi, should the hazzard light switch iluminate at night when the headlights are on? It's an early 2001 model, with the switch behind the gear lever. Thanks in advance.

Yes as a dull back light.

Thanks Carl, you're right. If it helps anyone else, the bulb is 12 volt / 2.3 watt ( bulb 284 from Halford, £1.99).
