megan child locks?

I have recently bought a 99 Renault Megan. Although initialy pleased the vendor failed to point out that my kids will not be able to get out of the back .I noticed at time of purchase but presumed it was just the child locks , any ideas would de apreciated

the plastic clip has broke at the door lock end and/or the rod has become detached from the handle end

Yeah rod detached at handel end thanks all good now
