Looking at the optional extras. What are the differences between the three of these? (aside from the obvious)

'Renaultsport' cloth upholstery in black and yellow
'Renaultsport' Recaro cloth upholstery
Renaultsport Recaro front seats•Airbag front passenger deactivation
•Height adjustable drivers seat
•No anti-submarine airbags
•Recaro Renaultsport front seats

which of those are in this photo:

Apolagies if i'm being stupid. It's been a long day!

Those are the Renaultsport Recaros. You can have those or the standard seats in white or a full leather interior. Those are the choices.

The Recaros are amazing. I have them in mine.

Not sure if they have changed the design but the Recaro's used to have problems with the top outer edge of the bolsters wearing.

Our 197 never wore through, but the padding underneath did shift so it was cloth on metal frame. We got rid of it at 16,000 miles so I've no idea what would have happened as it got older.

A great seat though.

Right, so they are the 'Renault recaro cloth upholstery'? Ie, no cost upgrade?

I can't see the Recaro's being a non chargeable option tbh. We certainly had to pay for them.

Great, so liquid yellow + recaros = £2150. Ouch.

Yup, only want a few options. Spec would be 200 cup, liquid yellow, recaros, Bluetooth and that renaultsport computer thing of which I've forgotten the name!

Afraid not.

Where are you based? How are you financing the car?

Aberdeen. Will be their 4 year plan. Works for me. Will probably pay a few options up front.

Ah, you're a long way from me. You looking at the Selections (PCP) option?

I'll email you some rough figures to work off tomorrow.

IrrElephant: please could you ping across the same to me? Exactly the same spec. My Wife is after a new car. Working out whether to buy an older 200 or finance a new one if the discounts and PCP are favourable.

Cheers

That is it indeed. Post on here when you PM me and can go from there. Friends just started working for Arnold Clark but he's not of much use! hehe

They still wear sadly. Got the leather version in the Megane and they're wearing on the driver's side already after 18 months.

Fantastic seats though, they really hold you in!

I'd push for a very good deal guys based upon a conversation I've had recently with a renaultsport specialist dealer.

I won't name them, but they didn't have a single demo RS as he was quite open in saying demand had dropped off significantly.

That'll be the 1.6T version on its way!

It's got to be 2.0 N/A though!
