Hi all , new to the forums and looking for some further info on the above car.

My local dealer is offering these up at what would appear to be rather a good deal right now. I love the looks of them as they have the GT Line bumpers etc.

The question is, coming from a Clio 172 am I kdding myself that the MPG on the 1.4 TCe will be much higher than the 2.0 of the clio (the best I ever saw out of that from 1 tank of fuel was 32mpg)?

Does anyone have any experince of the Monaco GP edition or even another megane with the same engine that could help shed some light.

I have also heard that Renault are no longer producing this engine? Is this true?

The other option I have is the Megane Coupe 1.5 DCi, however from only doing approx 10k miles a year I don't think a diesel would be a wise decision?

Sorry for all the questions, hoping someone could help out a bit.
Cheers.

Renault are still producing this engine, so what you have heard is rubbish. The Monaco GP is a great spec and that engine is nice and pokey, but perhaps not as economical as the dCi. The performance is markedly different though...

The GT Line suspension as fitted to the Monaco GP is developed and produced by Renaultsport, so the handling is spot on!
