Pollen filters PUG 207

Hi hope someone can help...
Just received a pollen filter for the missus's 207, the one behind the flap in the engine bay under the driver's side wiper mechanism. But I also received a smaller filter????? I have no idea what that one's for. Can anyone advise please where this second filter resides?
When I look on tinterweb there is often two filters showing when looking for cabin filters.

The filter housing is L shaped,take the new one back out and put your hand in the housing and slide the 2nd filter into the space where the first one was and pull it out.Note it only fits in the one way the pleats go the same way as the big filter.
