I'm looking for a complete front panel including: headlight panel assemblies for both sides, slam panel and radiator crossbeam. I've tried carz2.co.uk, Hadrian group and Auto Panels in Castleford is next. They're not all that common and the radiator crossbeam looks like it's NLA. Any other suggestions of where else I could try?

Am I right in thinking these things actually come bolted/welded together and then just need to be welded in place, or if bought complete are they delivered as individual panels?

I'm pretty sure the bit the lights can be bought and welded, not sure about the rest.

Some people find a donor car and cut the front off

Suppose that's another option. TBH don't really want to be floundering about in scrappies if I can avoid it at this time of year.

Yes, but also the cross panel which the rad sits on. Hopefully looking to get the complete front end rather than a kit of individual panels, if it's available. Any suggestions?

I really don't think it's likely you'll find the whole lot for sale unless you get lucky on ebay. Your best bet is a scrappy although Peugeot seem to list different part numbers for the GTI and cabrio for some of the front end bits than lesser 205's. All the bits in the illustration are individual parts/numbers and would need to be ordered seperately. I can find out prices if you like just to give you an idea?

On that note - cabrio's can be picked up complete very cheap. Undesirable, leaky and generally completely knackered but loads of GTI bits to sell on after you've stripped what you want.

Yep, suppose it's another possibility. Just don't really have the space or the tools (ie welding equipment) to undertake the work myself. Ta anyway biggrin
