I've recently bought a 205 1.6 GTi, its already stripped, with a cage, R888s, battery moved to boot, induction kit etc. It isn't pretty and has had plenty of welding but is perfect for the track.

That said I want to drive it too the track as well, so at the weekend set about fitting a new headlight that had been removed. The wiring is in a bit of a state, lots of disconnected plugs which is a bit worrying, I'll have a stab at identifying everything when I have a haynes manual with a wiring diagram in front of me. In the mean time, if anyone could point shed some light on what the arrowed bits of the induction, and some electrical thing is that would be great! I am aware the air filter isnt on at present, it was removed to aid reconnecting the indicators.

green arrow is your air flow meter. red arrow is just a shunt/connector block, mines bolted to the slam panel.

Cheers guys, I'd guessed the airflow but wasnt sure if it did anything else given the size of the thing, I might investigate what the output is to see if it can be swapped for something smaller to help get the filter down in the air flow through the lower bumper.

The red arrow point to the fan fuse box.
