I've drove all 3 of the models and to be honest i wasn't overly impressed. I am coming from a modified 207 gti so powerwise it isn't going to compare.
If i had to choose at gun point though i would most probably pick the diesel, nice and quiet and relatively good economy.
Interior is a nice place to be, seats are great once you've messed with the settings for what seems like a lifetime. Quite like the fact that there's 3 settings to the spoiler.
There are probably better ways of parting with over £20k.

Had the use of the diesel one for many trips and journeys. Round town the petrol is much smoother due to the clutch, however as soon as you hit the open road the diesel just eats up the miles happily. It's a very nice torquey engine that picks up well, even at low revs. It's reliable and returns a good mpg (53.2 on the combined) and is relatively spritely (8.7 seconds to 62mph).
Last year I drove one to Austria, and it performed admirably. On top of all that, well over a year after it was launched it is still a head turner.
I would happily drive one every day.

my rcz (petrol) has averaged 32 over 12k , my ops directors diesel has averaged 45 in the same time!
no issues with either. Her front tyres lasted 20k, mine 14 :s

Looking to order mine shortly. They're amazing value for money, & awesome bits of kit.
Was looking at a Giulietta but it doesn't compare too well, so RCZ gets the nod!

What are you guys paying for a new RCZ - if you don't mind saying, of course.
Or what's it costing you per month and deposite, if that's your preferred ointment.
Mines via business lease its a top of the range 200thp gt with all the options ticked bar sat nav on 12k pa Or what's it costing you per month and deposite, if that's your preferred ointment.
It was 2400 down and 380 pm inc vat over 36 months.
Got two in the business, between us we've done 52k ( mine 12k, the hdi 40k) no issues.
Just found out you can remap the 200 to 250bhp due to the large behr inter cooler! Might make that jump soon!
Had my RCZ over a month now, & what a great little car it is.
Drives well, loads of kit, practical, comfortable, well made and it looks sensational. I always look back at it as i park it & walk off. The styling is it's best asset.
The economy is not as great as i had hoped though. I have the Diesel, & was hoping for a proper 50MPG, but only seem to be reaching 40MPG. The car was brand new, & has only done 2000 miles thus far. Does anyone know if it gets better? I've heard that diesels get better with age, but how long should that normally take?

Hi, I also have the HDi.I have the Diesel, & was hoping for a proper 50MPG, but only seem to be reaching 40MPG.
I can average over the 50mpg regularly.
Depends on how you're driving and whether you have lots of town type driving.
You should see good mileage out of motorway runs.
I'm nearly on 15k miles, which I understand for a Diesel is barely run in.
